I regret to inform you that Brother Mike Kropp, retired member of Burlington System Division Lodge 1105, passed away on September 7, 2022.

-OBITUARY-

Michael M. Kropp, age 66, of Bellevue, NE, died Wednesday, September 07, 2022 from his short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his family.

Mike was born January 27, 1956, to Marvin and Arlene (Ohsann) Kropp in Lake Charles, LA. He graduated from Bellevue East High School in 1974. He made his home in Bellevue, NE where he worked for BNSF railroad for several years. He was unfortunately injured on the job and was forced to retire back in 2002.

Mike enjoyed spending time with his many friends playing Keno. He had an annual ice fishing trip with his family in Northern MN. ‘Good food, good company and usually some fish.’ Mike also had a passion for golf! He was in many tournaments and participated in leagues during the week. He would travel to Laughlin in the spring and played golf with his buddies. Mike enjoyed going to the family lake cabin on Star Lake in MN. He loved fishing, bonfires and playing cards.

Mike is survived by his sister Denise and brother-in-law Randy Balzum, niece and Goddaughter Nicole Kramer and fiancée Tony Johnson; nephew Lucas (Sarah) Balzum; and great niece Bella Kramer; Moorhead, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Arlene Kropp.

Mike will be greatly missed!
