In support of our Campaign to Defend Rail Safety, BMWED's Education Department will host a webinar on Wednesday, July 2nd that focuses on how our whistleblower protections under FRSA §20109 support the following protected activities:
Cooperating with an investigation or testifying in a proceeding under federal laws or regulations relating to railroad safety or security.
Reporting a hazardous safety or security condition.
This webinar will offer some guidance and information on how to navigate our whistleblower protections under FRSA, offer context on how these apply to our current Campaign to Defend Rail Safety, and will then transition to an open discussion to share thoughts, issues, or concerns among members regarding our whistleblower protections and our Campaign to Defend Rail Safety.
