RRB's ability to receive faxed-in claims for RUIA Sickness Benefits should be restored
Posted On: Dec 10, 2020
Several members have informed us that the fax number RRB has provided for submitting their RUIA Sickness Benefit claims has been unresponsive.
Following up with RRB, we have learned that they have been doing some work to increase the capacity of that fax line, to accommodate the much higher volume of claims being submitted at this time. While that work did cause some issues with transmitting claims, it has since been resolved.
If you are submitting RUIA Sickness Benefit claims to RRB, you should fax them to:
(312) 751-7185
Be sure to keep copies of your paperwork and, if possible, obtain a transmission report to confirm your fax got through. If you have further issues, please let us know.
For instructions on how to submit claims for RUIA Sickness Benefits, you can download the RRB Booklet “Sickness Benefits for Railroad Employees” (UB-11) and find other resources on our website at bmwedburlington.org under the RRB News and Information section of the Member Resources Tab.
